I’ve been contacted a few times about how to recover the data from iPhone’s that are stuck in recovery mode. Here’s an example post:
“I am contacting you on behalf of a colleague whose work phone (iPhone 6) has been stuck in recovery mode. It was charging but didn’t have enough battery so it was unable to complete the update and got stuck. It won’t update or restore – I just tried this myself on chat with an Apple support worker, it didn’t work so she said a technician needs to look at it. The phone is backed up so I won’t need any data recovered but I was wondering whether you would be able to fix the iOS error? I am asking because the problem seems to be listed on an article I found from you.”
I found a good post offering advice about how to get out of recovery mode here https://drfone.wondershare.com/recovery-mode/iphone-stuck-in-recovery-mode.html.
So if you have an iPhone in a situation like this I try the above. If it doesn’t work – I should be able to do a data recovery on it. You can read more about my phone recovery services here http://data-recovery-tips.co.uk/phone-data-recovery/.
