Here are some enquiries that I’ve received this month about retrieving files from broken and unresponsive hard drives.
On starting my Toshiba Satellite z830 Ultrabook after the InteI (R) Boot Agent GE v1.3.66 message, I get the error message “PXE-E61 : Media test failure, check cable” and “PXE-M0F : Exiting Intel Boot Agent.”, and a prompt to insert system disk in dirve and Press Any key when Ready.
Can you assist is resolving this?
Hello, I want to enquire about a repair I need. I dropped my seagate on a hard floor and now the disc will not spin, when I plug it in the computer makes the sound for the USB and it shows up in the eject hardware dialogue but not in the main folders menu. It makes no sounds, the drive itself . It is likely a connection/hardware problem due to the drop.
I am eager to recover the data and am not fussed if the drive itself is repaired, I can supply another drive to put the data on, it is important as it contains 6 months worth of photographic and audio work I did overseas.
I wanted to get a quote for the data recovery of four external hard drives. Two are Lacie, one is WiebeTech, and the other is unknown. Unfortunately, I don’t have any other information except that I have been told they are corrupted. Please let me know what your price range is for data recovery.
I have a seagate 4tb external drive which was left indexing using Plex overnight, in the night the drive was knocked from the desk, falling 2-3 feet and was not found in that state until the following evening. When powered you can hear and feel the platters spinning up, a faint beeping sound and the platters stop spinning. I fear the heads have come into contact with the platters on impact. I have not tried to run any kind of recovery as in this condition it would not mount. How much would it cost for data recovery? THe contents were appx 3tb and largely TV shows and Films though I suspect pictures, books, comics and music too.
The data recovery service I offer is suitable for all types of hard drive – SSD and HDD, as well as servers and external hard drives. Take a look around the web site for further information, and contact me using the form to the right if you have any questions.
